Pat McFadden and Victoria Atkins to face questions over assisted dying bill votepublished at 07:46 Greenwich Mean Time

Victoria Derbyshire will be filling in this week for Laura Kuenssberg.
Good morning and welcome back to another week of Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, with the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire filling in for Laura.
In the week that saw MPs voting in favour of legalising assisted dying for some terminally ill people in England and Wales we’re joined by Cabinet Office Minister Pat McFadden, who willchat with Victoria about what the government’s next steps may be.
Remember that this doesn’t mean the bill has become law, but it allows it to continue for further parliamentary scrutiny with the backing of the elected chamber.
Shadow environment secretary Victoria Atkins is also on the show. She’s only recently moved into the position, having been appointed by new Tory leader Kemi Badenoch.
Labour’s Diane Abbott – the longest continuously serving female MP – joins the panel this morning to give her opinions on the week’s news and will be joined by chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Conservative peer Craig Mackinlay.
Cate Blanchett is also on the programme this week, speaking about her new film, Rumours – released next Friday. The film’s director, Guy Maddin, joins her.
As always, the show gets under way at 09:00 GMT and you can follow along on BBC One and iPlayer, or by pressing the watch live button above. This is a stream-only page without regular text updates.
