Cup semi-final places up for grabspublished at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December
There was drama aplenty in Tuesday night’s BetMcLean Cup action as a late goal saw Glentoran book their quarter-final place at the expense of Linfield with a 1-0 victory at Windsor Park, while at Seaview Kieran Offord netted a hat-trick as Crusaders required extra-time to see off Dungannon Swifts 4-2 to reach the semi-finals.
Tonight offers up two Championship v Premiership quarter-final ties as Armagh City host Cliftonville at Holm Park and Annagh United are at home to Larne at the BMG Arena.
Shea Campbell’s Armagh are unbeaten in their last five league fixtures and having defeated Glenavon on penalties in the previous round of the competition will be keen to claim another top flight scalp.
Cliftonville will aim to bring their impressive league form of just one reverse in their last eight outings into tonight’s encounter, Joe Gormley having scored 10 goals in that sequence.
Ciaran McGurgan’s Annagh side also go on search of an upset against a Larne team, whose most recent result of a hectic season to date was a 1-1 Premiership draw with Cliftonville on Sunday.
We’ll have score updates throughout the evening so stay with us for more cup drama as it unfolds. Thanks for joining us.
